Saskatoon, Sask. — July 11, 2001 — International Road Dynamics Inc. has secured the renewal of the Oregon Green Light Maintenance Contract, which is valued at US$300,000. The contract is for a period of one year and is for the maintenance of the 21 Automated Truck Weigh Stations installed by the company.
These systems include equipment and software to allow safe and legal trucks equipped with transponders to be weighed and pre-cleared past stations at highway speed. This is the second renewal of an existing contract initially signed in 1999.

Since the end of the first quarter of 2001, IRD has signed over C$2.6 million in new or renewed service and maintenance contracts. This brings the total backlog of service work as of the end of June to $5 million, up from $4.25 million at the same time last year. This represents a growth of 17 per cent in this part of IRD’s business.

IRD currently has 38 field technicians involved in the service business, based out of 14 locations throughout North America. IRD is a highway traffic management products and systems technology company which specializes in supplying systems to the worldwide, emerging industry of Intelligent Transportation Systems .
