Calgary, AB, March 16, 2001 — With over 350 of Western Canada’s largest users and operators of industrial equipment, leading experts on machinery reliability, and leading manufacturers of rotating equipment, the grand opening celebration of Kadon’s new Rotating Equipment Repair Center and Reliability Center of Excellence on March 15, 2001, was a tremendous success.
The event included educational seminars presented by leading experts on machinery reliability, a tradeshow, and facility tours capped off by a celebration party.
“The overwhelming response from our customers who were able to make it to the day’s events was incredibly positive. We were able to showcase our abilities as a rotating equipment service facility and engineering solutions provider and I believe everyone in attendance was genuinely impressed,” said Jim Mugford, Kadon’s’ vice-president and general manager. “Now that we are officially moved into our new service centre, we’re looking forward to developing and delivering an even greater portfolio of rotating equipment repair, engineering, and maintenance services to the market.”
The attendees were a cross section from major Western Canadian industries, including oil and gas, chemicals, petrochemicals, pipelines, pulp and paper, food processing, power generation, and mining.
